YouTube to MP3 on iPhone
A browser, a link and a place to keep your audio. Here is the Safari workflow, with the details that make downloads easier to find.
Step-by-step guide
- Find a video you have permission to download and convert. In YouTube, choose Share, then Copy link.
- Open Sonify’s YouTube to MP3 Converter in Safari.
- Paste the link, choose an output bitrate and confirm you have the necessary permissions.
- Tap Convert to MP3. Keep the page open while the task is processed.
- When the result is ready, tap Download MP3. Accept Safari’s download prompt if one appears.
- Open Safari’s downloads list or the Files app to find your MP3.
How to find your downloaded MP3
Your Downloads folder may be under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on Safari settings. Tap the MP3 to preview it, or use Share to open it in a compatible app. Menu names can differ between iOS versions.
Troubleshooting
The Download button is not working+
Check that conversion is complete and the result has not expired. Tap the link directly. If Safari reports a network error, retry while the file is available.
Audio quality is low+
The output cannot exceed the detail in the original recording. Choosing 320 kbps cannot repair a low-quality source.
Safari blocked or cancelled the download+
Read the browser message, check your connection and available storage, then retry. Do not disable your device security settings. If the file expired, start a new conversion.
