Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 September 2026

These terms apply to Sonify at sonify.uk. By using the tools, you agree to use the service within these conditions. Contact support@sonify.uk with service or content concerns.

Your content and permissions

Use Sonify only for content you have the necessary rights or permission to download and convert, and comply with applicable law and the source platform’s terms. A publicly accessible video is not automatically free to copy. The permissions checkbox records your confirmation; it does not verify or grant a licence.

Permitted use

Do not use Sonify to infringe rights, access restricted content, defeat access controls, overload the service or interfere with another user’s tasks. We do not support private, age-restricted, paid or live content, account-cookie imports, or tools for bypassing platform restrictions.

Service limits

This version is free and supports one video at a time, up to 30 minutes, five new tasks per hour per connection, a 128 MiB input limit and an 80 MiB output limit. Shared queue and processing capacity also apply. Completed files expire after 15 minutes. A video may still be unavailable or unsupported within these limits.

Quality and availability

MP3 bitrate describes the output encoding, not the quality of the source. Conversion and downloads depend on third-party availability, network conditions and your device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, every video, background playback, or compatibility with every device. Keep your own copies of material you need.

Independent service

Sonify is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners. Sonify does not claim ownership of your content.

Rights concerns and changes

If you believe use of the service affects your rights, contact us with the relevant page or source and a description of your concern. Features and capacity limits may change. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
